The subscription is per sensor. The same sensor can be used among different athletes. Multiple coaches can have their own webapp login at no extra cost. Typically, a team of 10 - 12 athletes owns 2 - 3 sensors.

The subscription is purchased separately, once you receive your sensors. This allows you to start the subscription only when you need it and buy the sensor well in advance, for example during the off-season.
